First, I stand quietly by the water’s edge and marvel at the sights, the sounds, and the smell of the ocean air. I stand in awe and I smile inwardly at the beauty of it all. I give Thanks to God for his many blessings.
This is good. Life is good. It just doesn't get much better than this!

Rides & Attractions for Kids
Did you hear that The
Kemah Boardwalk has no entertainment
for kids? That’s what I heard and, it’s just NOT true! There are many fun things for kids of all ages to enjoy on
the boardwalk. For starters, there are slides, rides, and water splashing
opportunities that all kids are sure to fall in love with.
Where to start?
The Balloon Wheel is a kid sized version of an adult ferris wheel. It is designed for and is the perfect ride for little kids who like to go up and down and round and round.

Children must be 36 inches tall to ride alone on this one. If they are less than 36 inches tall an adult must ride along with them.
C.P. Huntington Train
The C.P. Huntington Train is a reproduction of the famous 1863 C.P.
Huntington train! It travels around and throughout the entire boardwalk, giving visitors a view of all the rides and attractions. Children must be 42 inches tall to ride alone on this train. If they are less than 42 inches tall, an adult must ride with them.
Dancing Water Fountains
Kids of all ages love water, they love getting wet, they love running through water, they love jumping in and out of water, and they just plain old love splashing water all over the place.
The Dancing Water Fountains is the place to be for water babies and all other water lovers, no matter how old they are.

front of the Boardwalk Inn. Kids may wear bathing suits and must be supervised
by an adult

The Double-Decker
Carousel is a version of the old Merry-Go-Round featuring dragons, sea monsters,
unicorns, horses and lots of other fun creatures!

Kids will enjoy picking out their favorite animal to ride round and round and round on this fun Carousel. Children must be 42 inches tall to ride the carousel alone. Children under 42 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult or someone taller than 42 inches.
Ferris Wheel
The Ferris Wheel is a ride that the whole family can ride and enjoy together!
