My 1st Kemah Visit September 9, 2011

September 9, 2011

First, I stand quietly by the water’s edge and marvel at the sights, the sounds, and the smell of the ocean air. I stand in awe and I smile inwardly at the beauty of it all. I give Thanks to God for his many blessings.

This is good. Life is good. It just doesn't get much better than this!

Rides & Attractions for Kids

Did you hear that The Kemah Boardwalk has no entertainment for kids? That’s what I heard and, it’s just NOT true! There are many fun things for kids of all ages to enjoy on the boardwalk. For starters, there are slides, rides, and water splashing opportunities that all kids are sure to fall in love with.

Where to start?

The Balloon Wheel

The Balloon Wheel is a kid sized version of an adult ferris wheel. It is designed for and is the perfect ride for little kids who like to go up and down and round and round.

Dancing Water Fountains
Kids of all ages love water, they love getting wet, they love running through water, they love jumping in and out of water, and they just plain old love splashing water all over the place.

The Dancing Water Fountains is the place to be for water babies and all other water lovers, no matter how old they are.

The Dancing Water Fountains are located in the center of all the fun, right in front of the Boardwalk Inn. Kids may wear bathing suits and must be supervised by an adult

The Double-Decker Carousel is a version of the old Merry-Go-Round featuring dragons, sea monsters, unicorns, horses and lots of other fun creatures!
